A thermosyphonic system (solar water heater) operates using a heating method as an open system and is considered the most common system in Israel. It can be installed on a flat or tiled roof or a combination of the two. In this system, the water tank is installed above the solar collector, but in a horizontal position (lying) due to space or aesthetics considerations. This solution is considered to be less efficient than a tank installed vertically (standing).

Nimrod factories produce solar water heaters for vertical (standing) or horizontal (lying down) installation or for hanging. The selection of sizes ranges from 80 liters to 300 liters.

Nimrod’s durable high-quality water heaters are designed to withstand harsh climatic conditions and ensure a continuous supply of hot water 24 hours a day, summer and winter, while saving considerable electricity and maintenance costs.

Nimrod’s solar water heaters are coated with enamel. This coating prevents the formation of rust that reduces the amount of hot water and shortens the life of the water heater.

With Nimrod’s solar panels, it is possible to optimally adjust to the customer’s needs and requirements. Thanks to the selection of different panels, different models can be connected in order to adapt the system to the roof conditions, the desired heat output, and the customer’s financial capacity.

At Nimrod, we have a large variety of panels from galvanized Schedule 40 pipes without solder seams, which are adapted to extreme climatic conditions (frost). Schedule pipes have a lifespan that is several times longer than that of ordinary pipes that are prone to rusting.

It is mandatory to install a safety valve and a non-return valve in each water heater.

All Nimrod water tanks and panels have a 4-year warranty.

The condition of the stand should be checked during installation.

It is recommended to install a circuit breaker and a cut-off valve near the water heater.
